Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has denied reports that he was once in a relationship with wife to Banky W, Adesua Wellington. The actor’s social media platforms for last one week have been flooded with comments on how Banky W allegedly snatched Adesua from him. However, the actor has finally broken silence on the issue, saying he was never in a relationship with the actress. Remi said they only starred as a couple sometime in a movie entitled ‘Falling’ According to him, he congratulated privately rather than on social media as against reports. Nollywood actress, Yetunde Bakare Wednesday escaped death in a ghastly accident, which left her vehicle badly damaged. The Yoruba actress took to her Instagram page, yesterday to share a photo of her damaged car. Yetunde, who appears to be unhurt, did not provide details of how the road mishap occurred. Dr Sid is out with the official music video for his latest single “Jensimi”. The talented Mavin Records act ends the year with a comical video for the smash hit The song was produced by his label boss Don Jazzy and has been receiving positive reviews. The video is comical with a couple of funny skits within. The video features cameo appearances from Woli Arole, Asiri Comedy, Samuel Ajibola and Mabi Records in house disc jockey, DJ Big N. The video was shot and directed by Kulvera Pictures’ Paul Gambit alongside Dr Sid himself.

It’s no longer news that Nigerian singer, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, yesterday mistakenly shared a nude photo of his newly wedded wife, Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi on social media. What is news, however, is that the photo has since then, generated a lot of controversies. Some notable figures including actress,  Kate Henshaw , have taken to Twitter to warn that some things should be kept private. She also called on the couple not to be carried away by social media. However, it has been observed that the image that went viral online was edited from a video the singer intended to share online. Veteran Nollywood comic actor, John Okafor, better known as Mr. Ibu, has revealed why he ended his boxing career to become an actor. In an interview with the Punch, the Nollywood star disclosed he was once a boxer. He said he quit boxing when a Delta boy battered his face in a championship fight. He said, ‘’I would have been a boxer. I used to be a boxer. I was doing well until I went for a championship in Delta State. ‘’The boy I fought with was an idiot; he gave me a beating I would never forget. That boy changed my face and made me hate anything that had to do with gloves. ‘’After the fight, I looked in the mirror and I could not even recognise myself. I could see with only one eye for sometime due to the punches he dealt me. That was the incident that made me quit boxing.’’

Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay, who was the centre of attention at this year’s All Africa Music Awards after falling on stage while performing has spoken about the incident. Speaking with the Punch, the singer said she was so bitter with everyone after the show but took it as a blessing in disguise. According to her, she would consider her costume henceforth adding that the fall became an inspiration for a new song. She said, “At backstage, I was blaming everyone. I blamed my stylist, the designer, and my manager. I even blamed the stage. But the truth is that what is meant to be will be. Controversial On Air Personality, OAP, Daddy Freeze has described a sermon on tithe by the General overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, as ”falsehood driving us to poverty.” The leader of ‘free sheeple movement’ shared a sermon of the pastor preaching on tithe, as he stated that ‘this is the kind of false preaching that probably plunged us into poverty in the first place!.’’ Recall that  Adeboye had reacted to freeze’s statement on tithe , warning him to avoid divine curse. The tithe controversy which has generated so much reaction from Nigerian pastors had  Pastor Oyedepo giving reason why Christians must pay tithe. But OAP Freeze has stressed that Paying tithe and giving offering to Pastors, wont take one out of poverty, saying that there is a huge possibility that it’s what took one into poverty in the first place.

Veteran Nollywood actor and former broadcaster, Sadiq Daba is about to be flown to the UK for intensive treatment. Daba had opened up on his health challenges  following confirmation that he has prostate cancer. The actor who had complained about shortage of funds for his treatment, hence, colleagues and friends had rallied round to raise funds for him. Ace broadcaster, Soni Irabor, who was among those rallying support for the ailing artiste, made the announcement, yesterday on his Instagram page. Irabor also said that enough funds had been gathered for the actor. According to him, a total of N10.5 million had so far been raised as at Monday. “It’s time to say thanks to you all; Sadiq Daba is set to move out for the UK where he will start treatment. “While we say thanks, we say please let’s not be stuck midway with this, we still need more from you. “The account is still up and we look forward to receiving from you. God bless you,” Irabor wrote.
