Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, on Wednesday dished out advice to latest couple, Banky W and Adesua Wellington on their marriage.
The actress in a post on Instagram advised the couple to stay away from social media for sometime after their white wedding in Capetown.

The actress in a post on Instagram advised the couple to stay away from social media for sometime after their white wedding in Capetown.
The couple on Sunday broke the internet in their traditional wedding. 
Omotola wrote, “Dear Banky and Adesua,
“After Capetown, everyone leaves…it’s just you two.
“My darlings if possible, stay off social media a bit.
“Communicate continuously, Preserve your friendship not just your love.
“Even as you two have now become one, don’t forget to respect your individuality.
“We love you and are rooting for your special Love.”

American hip hop recording artist, Cardi B on Thursday congratulated Nigerian singer ,David Adeleke, ‘Davido’ on his award as best African act at MOBO Awards. The rapper described ‘OBO crooner’s songs as amazing. She tweeted, “Your music is amazing !! “Congrats on your win @davido!!! This was after Davido shared a picture of both of them at the award ceremony at Leeds, the First Direct Arena. Davido beat Wizkid, Maleek Berry, Mr Eazi and others to clinch the Best African Act award at 2017 MOBO Awards.

Ailing actor, Sadiq Daba set for treatment in London

Veteran Nollywood actor and former broadcaster, Sadiq Daba is about to be flown to the UK for intensive treatment. Daba had opened up on his health challenges  following confirmation that he has prostate cancer. The actor who had complained about shortage of funds for his treatment, hence, colleagues and friends had rallied round to raise funds for him. Ace broadcaster, Soni Irabor, who was among those rallying support for the ailing artiste, made the announcement, yesterday on his Instagram page. Irabor also said that enough funds had been gathered for the actor. According to him, a total of N10.5 million had so far been raised as at Monday. “It’s time to say thanks to you all; Sadiq Daba is set to move out for the UK where he will start treatment. “While we say thanks, we say please let’s not be stuck midway with this, we still need more from you. “The account is still up and we look forward to receiving from you. God bless you,” Irabor wrote.

It’s no longer news that Nigerian singer, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, yesterday mistakenly shared a nude photo of his newly wedded wife, Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi on social media. What is news, however, is that the photo has since then, generated a lot of controversies. Some notable figures including actress,  Kate Henshaw , have taken to Twitter to warn that some things should be kept private. She also called on the couple not to be carried away by social media. However, it has been observed that the image that went viral online was edited from a video the singer intended to share online. Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay, who was the centre of attention at this year’s All Africa Music Awards after falling on stage while performing has spoken about the incident. Speaking with the Punch, the singer said she was so bitter with everyone after the show but took it as a blessing in disguise. According to her, she would consider her costume henceforth adding that the fall became an inspiration for a new song. She said, “At backstage, I was blaming everyone. Wande Coal reportedly married Black Diamond Music act, Wande Coal has allegedly  tied knot with his heartthrob, simply identified as Chinemerem, Nation reports . Wande Coal was said to have performed his traditional marriage rites on Saturday, November 18, 2017. The traditional ceremony was reportedly attended by only close friends and family members of the couple at the residence of the bride’s parents in Lagos. Chinemerem is said to have courted wande for at least four years. According to the paper, a close family friend of the bride described the pair as ‘extremely suited pieces of a bigger puzzle’ adding that the white wedding will take place in 2018.

Rapper Lil Peep dies at 21 Rapper Lil Peep, an emerging voice on the hip hop scene and a YouTube star, has died at the age of 21, police and a business associate confirmed to CNN Thursday. Pastor Adeboye preaches false sermon – OAP Freeze

Controversial On Air Personality, OAP, Daddy Freeze has described a sermon on tithe by the General overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, as ”falsehood driving us to poverty.” The leader of ‘free sheeple movement’ shared a sermon of the pastor preaching on tithe, as he stated that ‘this is the kind of false preaching that probably plunged us into poverty in the first place!.’’ Recall that  Adeboye had reacted to freeze’s statement on tithe , warning him to avoid divine curse. The tithe controversy which has generated so much reaction from Nigerian pastors had  Pastor Oyedepo giving reason why Christians must pay tithe. But OAP Freeze has stressed that Paying tithe and giving offering to Pastors, wont take one out of poverty, saying that there is a huge possibility that it’s what took one into poverty in the first place.

G.O Adeboye, others have failed to back collection of tithes with the scripture

The controversy surrounding tithing seems not to be over as Nigerian rapper, Lanre Dabiri, ‘Eldee’ has asked Nigerian pastors to provide Bible verses backing tithing. The rapper says Pastors have failed to convince Nigerians why tithe is mandatory unlike OAP Freeze who has supported his preaching with scriptures. According to him, no pastor including G.O Adeboye has been able to give a scriptural backing on where God mandated tithing. “Freeze has asked Nigerian pastors to come and explain where in the bible God mandated tithing and not a single one has been able to respond with scripture not even the all time tithing collection Grandmaster G.O “If you’re christian when you get to church this Sunday beg your pastor to please help shut Mr Freeze up by sharing the bible verses where God mandated Tithing. “We are all curious now,” Eldee wrote on his snapchat page. credit: dailypost
